Sisters' mission continues in Mundare

Mundare is located in central Alberta, 45 minutes east of Edmonton. With a population of around 850, it is a community with a rich Ukrainian heritage.
Along with a museum and library, residents enjoy recreational facilities, including a hockey arena, curling rink, ball diamonds, playgrounds, a water park and a bowling alley. Mundare is also close to outdoor amenities like beautiful golf courses, parks and campgrounds.
Mary Immaculate Care Centre is a cornerstone of the Mundare community. It has 30 long-term care beds and provides long-term care, palliative care and a mental health adult day program. It is rooted in Ukrainian history, honouring a tradition of hospitality and service.
