Effective January 25, 2021 The Misericordia Community Hospital Outpatient Laboratory is focusing on access for patients that attend on-site Ambulatory Clinic appointments, receive surgical services at the facility and patients requiring special collections.

Special collections refers to: Transfusion Medicine, Ammonia, Lactate, ICA, Special Coagulation and hospital staff OH&S and BBFE.

Ambulatory Clinic patients already on site will be able to book or walk-in same day as per site protocols. Patients that require blood collection before their clinic visit or surgical date can be referred for an appointment ahead of time.

To book an appointment at the Misericordia Community Hospital Outpatient Laboratory call 780.735.2516.

All other community collections continue to be done at Dynalife Medical Labs Patient Service Centres. Patients can book at a Dynalife Medical Labs Patient Service Centre by using the online option at www.dynalife.ca or by calling 780.702.4486 to make an appointment.
