Our executive leadership team is responsible for moving our strategic agenda forward. It works within Alberta’s health system to lead our operations, address operational issues and respond to provincial opportunities and priorities.
Portfolios
We carry out our operations in three portfolios:
- Edmonton acute care: programs and services at our two large urban hospitals — the Grey Nuns and Misericordia
- Seniors' health: large continuing care programs in Edmonton, Lethbridge and St. Albert
- Rural health: facilities in our smaller urban centres and rural areas
We have designed these portfolios to:
- meet local community needs
- look for new areas of growth
- respond to Alberta Health Services’ priorities across the full range of care in urban and rural care settings
