Unit 3A & Unit 3B: General acute

Unit 3A and 3B are each 30 bed acute care units which provide assessment and treatment for patients with acute psychiatric illness requiring urgent stabilization. Common diagnoses include Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia other psychotic disorders, as well as mild cognitive impairment. Upon discharge, patients return to the most suitable and supportive community living environment.
