Long-term care - Complex mental health & addictions

These beds are offered to individuals with complex, chronic and persistent addiction and mental health needs who have been unsuccessful in other living situations. The program provides community care that supports the well-being of those living with mental illness so they may live with dignity and hope.

  • Full multidisciplinary team
  • 24-hour RN assistance
  • Staff who are proficient in managing behaviours, cueing and redirection
  • Ongoing psychiatric support

Admissions

To be admitted to St. Michael’s Health Centre, please contact the Alberta Health Services Access Centre at 403.388.6380. Accommodation fees are set by the Government of Alberta.

Please note that individuals can choose where they are placed but wait times may apply.
