Obstetrics Department
The Obstetrics Department at the Grey Nuns Community Hospital cares for mothers and babies before, during and after birth. Care is offered on both an inpatient and outpatient basis by obstetricians, family practitioners, anesthetists, neonatologists and pediatricians.
Labour & Delivery Unit
The Labour and Delivery Unit has 13 birthing rooms and two operating rooms where cesarean sections are performed.
Postpartum Unit
The Postpartum Unit at the Grey Nuns is made up of two separate units that have private and semi-private rooms available. In most cases, babies and mothers stay together during their time in this unit, except when either the mother or baby is ill and requires specialized care.
