Respiratory Therapy
The Respiratory Therapy Department supports acute care, outpatients and our community. The department maintains a close working relationship with the medical staff and primary care.
Respiratory services include:
- Respiratory assessments
- Spirometry (pre- and post-medication assessments)
- Blood gas procedure and assessment
- Tracheostomy changes and cares as well as in servicing
- In-services for medications, equipment, practices or other respiratory-related requests
- Respiratory education, such as the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program and other outpatient education such as asthma education, tobacco education and cessation and ventilation certification
Patients can access respiratory services through a physician referral.
