Sheila Smith

Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

Sheila, a chartered professional accountant (CPA), was selected as the vice-president and chief financial officer for Covenant Health in June 2017.  Serving in Catholic health care and the Alberta health system throughout her career, Sheila has over 29 years of experience in various leadership roles within finance including the Senior Director of Financial Planning and Reporting, interim vice-president and CFO before assuming her current position.  

Sheila is responsible for providing administrative, budgetary and fiscal direction to Covenant Health, including overseeing financial planning and reporting, funds management and the implementation of new business systems. She is an active volunteer, having served on various committees and boards in the community.
