Wendy Dugas
Board member
Wendy Dugas has over 15 years experience in the non-profit sector holding executive positions with a variety of local organizations and has been the CEO of the Alberta College of Paramedics, the regulator for the paramedic profession in Alberta, since 2018.
Born and raised in the Netherlands she completed her university degree with a major in Human Resources before moving to Canada in 2000. Her experience working with United Way of the Alberta Capital Region, the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation, Ronald McDonald House and the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation cemented her passion for community development, governance, organizational excellence and stakeholder relations.
Wendy obtained the Institute of Corporate Directors Director designation (IDC.D) in 2022. She is an active community volunteer and serves on the board of the Jessica Martel Memorial Foundation board as Vice-Chair, Caregivers Alberta board as Vice-Chair. She is also a member of the Alberta Federation of Health Professions board and is a member of the CarePros Advisory Board.
