Board Member Receives National Award

Covenant Health Board member Sister Nuala Kenny OC, MD, FRCPC has been granted the 2009 Performance Citation Award—Canada’s highest distinction in Catholic health care—in recognition of her outstanding contribution to health care in Canada, and for her work in furthering understanding of the link between ethics and health policy in the public sphere. In presenting Sr. Nuala the award at the Catholic Health Association of Canada (CHAC) annual convention in April, Dianne Doyle, Chair of the CHAC Board commented that “Sister Nuala is rooted in the legacy that has given rise to Catholic health care in Canada. Her pursuit of excellence and dedication has touched and inspired Catholic health care providers throughout Canada.”
