The Holy Cross name will once again be part of public health care in Calgary
Calgary, Canada — The legacy of the Holy Cross Hospital, Sisters of Charity of Montreal (Grey Nuns) and Catholic health care in Calgary will continue in the northwest community of Evanston with the construction of a continuing care campus that will soon be home to up to 229 Calgary seniors. On September 10, 2012, Patrick Dumelie, Covenant Health President and CEO; and Fred Horne, Minister of Health unveiled the names of the two facilities—Holy Cross Manor and St. Marguerite Manor.
