Community Boards
The community boards are a key component of the governance structure at Covenant Health. They have a mandate to represent the Covenant Health Board of Directors in their communities and to ensure that there is effective communication between the local communities and the provincial Catholic organization. These boards will be actively engaged in the planning processes for Catholic health in the province, both in identifying needs in the community and in determining the programs to be offered to best meet these needs.
As part of their mandate to ensure that Catholic health care meets the needs of the local communities, the community boards will monitor and assess the types and quality of services being provided in the facilities in their communities, and make recommendations as required for changes and enhancements in these services.
