Ark Angels rock Boating Festival

The Ark Angels 2011 team is predominantly a new crop of novice angels that are being taken under the wings of a handful of seasoned members. The team is a group of highly motivated professionals dedicated to perfecting the craft of dragon boating as part of their fun and fitness repertoire.

Some rookies have only held a paddle for three weeks before this year's Festival. Together, they celebrated milestone birthdays and even got tattoos (temporary) and headbands to get into the spirit of things!

With more practice time together on the water next season, this group will be amazing! Maybe even the ladies on maternity leave will be back to join in the wonderful camaraderie. It is also an awesome way to spend a beautiful summer evening enjoying the river valley. The members have made new friends - and discovered that there's a Mom in the midst who makes sinfully good toffee treats!
